Instead of sending computer tapes to be microfiched, Data Optics takes the same tapes that are sent to microfiche service companies and creates CD-ROMs. There are no changes to data formats or the processes already in place for current microfiche services.

With Optical Fiche, data normally routed to COM or print, is downloaded in report format,automatically indexed and compressed and is then stored to CD-ROMs. Once stored to permanent CDs, the data cannot be altered in any way, thus ensuring the integrity of the contents stored.

OPTICAL FICHE IS SIMPLE TO USE...

The Optical Fiche appears on your screen in report format all indexed by your criteria. Should you need to obtain a paper copy of a report page, simply send the page on your screen to a laser printer, or fax it to a remote location! Optical Fiche even supports all forms that correspond to your data. Data Optics offers unlimited indexing capabilities and is the only company in the world that is able to interpret Advanced Function Printing and Xerox Metacodes.
